MyCity explores in a modest application the capacity for environments to respond precisely and intimately to a subject’s actions and characteristics. The individuated connectedness is meant to expand the subject’s sphere of influence, projecting in this case the personal Flickr gallery of any willing participant onto public space. This is achieved simply with the help of a cellphone that allows an individual to identify his or her Flickr account and trigger the public display of selected personal images.
